Italeri 3671 1:24 Audi Quattro
In 1980, the new two-seater coupé Audi Quattro was presented by the German car manufacturer from Ingolstadt at the Geneva Motor Show. Produced throughout the 1980s, the Italian name emphasised its main feature: all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive on a vehicle aimed at achieving high sales figures was indeed an important innovation for the time. The Quattro offered good performance combined with excellent road grip on any type of surface. The longitudinally mounted front engine was capable of delivering remarkable performance. A competition version was also developed, which made its debut in the 1981 World Rally Championship and achieved good results. The success of the Quattro continues to this day, so much so that the Italian name has become a genuine brand that characterises the entire latest range of Audi all-wheel drive vehicles.
