Dragon 6456 1/35 German Officers Kursk 1943
July 3, 1943. There is tension in the air, as the final preparations for the next day's attack on the Russian defenders in Kursk Bay are already under way. A German commander gathers a small group of soldiers to study the maps and discuss orders for the opening move of the attack. It is hot and dry, the steppe has dried up in the summer heat. Standing in the shadow of a Panzer IV, already fueled and armed, ready for Operation Citadel, the largest armored conflict in human history.
Dragon's latest 1:35 character set recreates such a scene in Kursk in 1943. The realistic figures include a pair of tank grenadiers, a command officer and a crew member of the tank at a briefing before the start of the battle. Each figure wears a different and unique uniform that matches their role. Her summer uniforms are sharply shaped and scream after careful painting to further detail the details. Their facial expressions are also realistic as they discuss the best attack plan. These figures, as shown on the box, are an ideal complement to Dragon's recently released Panzer IV kit. However, these figures are so well formed and posed that they can actually be used by model makers in every summer scenario!
