The Xcite Sand Rail is the prototypical model of a U.S. American desert Buggy which is very popular for its usage at Rally Raid competitions.
The 4WD RTR model is based on a composite tub chassis which is supported by a roll cage. On this tub chassis front and back axle are constructed as well as the all-wheel drive string. The whole construction combined with the cage builds a super rigid and stable device. Inside the cage the high-quality RC elements are built-in. The splashproof 80-A-Brushless speed controller and the 2600 kV Brushless motor give the model great strength. A robust steering servo with a pressure power of 6 kg keeps the model on course. The driving force is being transferred to the large sized tyres through a steel cardan shaft drive and three bevel gear differentials. The long suspension travel plus the large tyres result in a vehicle with great mobility so the Sand Rail is usable on nearly every surface.
The recommended 3-S-LiPo Pack is placed into the bottom of the chassis through a battery-compartment and is protected against hard conditions on rough terrain optimally.
